Investing in Your Experience: Capital Improvement Projects
At River Run Country Club, we are dedicated to enhancing the member experience and reinvesting in our club. Over a four-year period, we are committing over $10 million to capital improvement projects that will elevate our facilities and amenities.
Our Commitment to Excellence
Our investment strategy is focused on ensuring that River Run remains the preferred private club experience in Davidson and the surrounding Lake Norman area. By continuously improving and updating our facilities, we aim to provide an exceptional environment for our members to enjoy.
Completed Projects
Completed Phase I of golf course renovations in November of 2023 that included all new and expanded irrigation, redesigned and rebuilt tee boxes, new weir structures, and replaced drainage basins.
Pool house Bathrooms Renovation – Completed April 2023
Renovated the four indoor courts with resurfacing and installed underground sprinklers and new clay on the nine clay courts – completed March of 2023
Bunker Renovation with Capillary Concrete – Completed January of 2022
Current Projects
We are currently upgrading the Racquet and Sports Center with the addition of five dedicated pickleball courts, three hard tennis courts, and a large member plaza/viewing area. This project will be completed in June of 2024
Future Projects
Pool renovation to include a zero entry, splash pad with spray features and expanded pool deck
Phase II Golf starts March of 2025 to August 2025 this includes re-grassing greens and collars, raising fairways, expanding hole #7 pond and installing new soil around greens to improve playability.
Build out a new multipurpose facility. The scope and date are yet to be determined, but it will be designed to meet the evolving needs of our members.
Sustaining Excellence
River Run has a self-sustaining capital fund model that allows us to stay relevant with amenities and make continual improvements to our existing facilities. This approach will allow us to remain a premier destination for our members and guests.
